Baja SAE
Kettering University participates in Baja SAE competitions throughout the year, an intercollegiate design competition run by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Teams of students from universities all over the world design and build small off-road cars.
Baja SAE Competition
In the most recent competition, teams were tasked with designing and building a single-seat, all-terrain off-road vehicle capable of enduring various rough terrains. Kettering’s team placed seventh in endurance and 11th in the overall competition.
